FAQ’s

Why do you charge for parking?

Parking income is vital to fund the Country Parks. Maintenance of paths and play areas, development of new facilities, tree safety works and conservation projects are just some of the work car parking income contributes to.

Why are there peak and off peak charges?

At peak times the parks and their facilities are under increased pressure from high numbers of visitors, hence the higher charge.  We hope that the off peak charge will encourage people to visit during the traditionally quieter periods to experience what the park has to offer during winter months. Regular visitors may benefit from an annual permit, available online.

How can I pay for parking?

Our on-site machines take both cash and card payments. Annual permits can be bought online.
